Is I1 I2 diamond clarity good?
I1 vs. I2 diamonds. I1 and I2 diamonds are next to each other on the Clarity scale, with I1 diamonds being slightly better. I1 diamonds have noticeable inclusions and so do I2 diamonds, but the imperfections will be even more noticeable in an I2.
Is IJ a good diamond color?
For the best value in what would appear to the naked eye as a colorless diamond, look for G-J diamonds. Because color is easier to detect in larger diamonds, opt for G-H in diamonds over 1 carat, and I-J for those under 1 carat. Once set in a ring, these diamonds will look just like higher color grade diamonds.
Is IJ diamond clarity good?
The reality is that a high quality, beautifully cut J color diamond can look absolutely stunning in an engagement ring or other jewelry, all while costing significantly less than an almost identical diamond with a better color grade.

Yes! Although an SI1 diamond isn’t flawless, both SI diamond grades are beautiful and valuable. Most often, no one will come close enough to even see or identify inclusions. Like most other high-quality diamonds, SI diamonds will appreciate over time.

An SI2 diamond is a diamond that will have inclusions visible to the naked eye. This means that you can spot mid-sized inclusions without having to use a professional diamond loupe. The inclusions may require close inspection but they can be seen with the eye.
